Talk about obsessive, this site has had 3 make-overs! Do you think my wife is taking advantage or am I never happy to leave well alone. Site visits are way up and adding a blog has really driven search traffic to the store. Blogging is not easy but there are lots of easy ways to craft content and interesting categories.

Top 10 SEO tips to tune up your website

  1. Web standards . You want code that validates with w3c.
  2. Technology. Choose wisely, beware of flash for navigation!
  3. Meta data. Thats that Search Engine code. Ensure that it is unique for each page.
  4. Relevant content. If you are green, talk about the environment
  5. Inbound links. LInks to your site. Does anyone else find your content interesting?
  6. Headings. Strategic and properly coded.
  7. New content. Search engines get bored too.
  8. Images. Make sure they have 'alt text' and give your image file names meaning.
  9. Ping. Create a sitemap and register it with Google and Yahoo.
  10. Automated Search Engine site submissions. Don't do it.
